Manabi AI Privacy Policy

This policy explains how user information is handled in the learning support app "Manabi AI."

Account and sign-in information: email address and identifiers required for authentication

Profile information: username, date of birth, gender, study purpose, and study targets

Study records: study time, material names, study notes, review content, and settings

Optional information provided by the user: material images, note images, and questions sent to AI features

Technical information: usage logs needed for error investigation and abuse prevention

We collect information that users enter or send through in-app forms, settings screens, image selection flows, and AI features.

We may also collect technical information required for authentication, data storage, and troubleshooting.

To authenticate accounts, identify users, and maintain sign-in sessions

To provide core features such as study logs, material management, and review scheduling

To provide AI-powered quiz generation, theme extraction, and study support answers

To prevent abuse, investigate issues, improve quality, and respond to support requests

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage.

We use OpenAI to power AI features.

When external providers handle information on our behalf, we manage that handling in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

User information is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service.

Users can request account deletion from the in-app settings screen.

After a deletion request, related data will be deleted or processed for deletion except where retention is required by law or for abuse prevention.
